Hand sculpted ooak figures and strange dolls by folk artist Deb Kirkpatrick
Odd, scary and
strange Dolls....
Beautifully Made...Compelling work
What are they? Inanimate louts, strange creatures, unhappy wallowers, jubilant love-duddies and of last but surely not least... miserable munchkins.
Each doll is entirely a handmade creation, using polymer clays, acrylic paints, vintage linens, muslin cotton antique buttons, charms and pins,
mohair, wood and wire. These are strange dolls, with souls and character!
Debbie Kirkpatrick began making soft-sculpture dolls in 2004 and discovered polymer
clay and papier mache doll making. Now everything that she drew on paper she could create in multi- dimensions.
A professional graphic and illustration artist for numerous cities and countries, she still finds time to make these
dolls and share them with all. Strange dolls for your to love and collect.
Debbie is currently adding
her strange dolls and art to several galleries and stores...please keep an eye out for new links to these places in
the near future! Please check out her Art Gallery and Resume for more information about this up and coming artist. All dolls are signed and dated and come with
name tag.
